Day 1

Arrival in Montevideo

Arrival at Montevideo airport, you will be greeted by your driver and guide. Transfer to the Bodega Boutique Bouza. You will have the privilege of visiting a typical Uruguayan Bodega. You will taste different wines from the cellar, which will be accompanied by a gourmet lunch consisting of 3 courses. It is one of the most prestigious cellars in Uruguay. It has received more than 75 international awards and medals.

After lunch, you will be taken to a second Bodega where you will stay for the night. You will visit the cellar of the Pizzorno family estate and taste Premium wines. The Bodega offers rooms with views of the vineyards and all the comforts to be in contact with nature and rest fully. For dinner, a gourmet country basket will be given to you with a bottle of wine.

Day 2

Discovery of Montevideo

After breakfast, you will be transferred to your hotel in Montevideo. On the way, you will make a stop to visit the Uruguay Agricultural Market (MAM).

Afternoon at your leisure to stroll through the streets of Montevideo.

In the evening, you will be transferred from your hotel to the TONA restaurant. This restaurant is owned by Uruguayan chef Hugo Soca, creator of the program “De la tierra al plato” and the books “Nuestras recetas siempre” and “Hugo Soca Cocina”. He is undoubtedly the ambassador of Uruguayan cuisine. This chef highlights a tradition handed down from generation to generation, that of “homemade cuisine” with natural and typical Uruguayan products. The evening menu will consist of 3 courses, with a non-alcoholic drink.

Day 3

Guided tour of Montevideo

In the morning, you will make a City Tour of Montevideo with a guide. Between culture and tradition, you will have the opportunity to discover all the facets of this city with a colonial look. You will end the visit with a typical Uruguayan lunch: Asado (BBQ) at Mercado del Puerto.

In the evening, you will be transferred from your hotel to the Tandory restaurant, where the prestigious Chef Gabriel Coquel will prepare his best dishes. This restaurant belongs to one of the best chefs in Uruguay: Gabriel Coquel. This chef has a long history and specializes in gourmet fusion cuisine. Gabriel will surprise you with a gourmet menu, accompanied by an assortment of national wines.  The chef will personally explain to you how he elaborated your dishes.

Day 4

Tastings in the famous vineyards of the Maldonado region

Transfer to Bodega Viña Edén located in Pueblo Edén, in a stony region with steep slopes and magnificent landscapes. These geographical conditions are the best starting point for the pleasure and creation of top-of-the-range red and white wines, and sparkling wines made using the traditional Champagne method. You will enjoy a 3-course menu, accompanied by 3 wine tastings. You will have a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar.

In the afternoon, we suggest you visit Tambo Talar. Famous dairy brand in Uruguay, the company has a very varied product catalog. You will visit Tambo, the cheese and dulce de leche production plant.
After the visit, you will taste cheeses and dulce de leche.

Day 5

Visit of Punta del Este

You will visit Punta del Este with a driver and a guide. This delicious coastal city will delight both art lovers and surfers. Among other things, you will visit the most emblematic places such as Punta Ballena, where the Casa Pueblo workshop-museum by the artist Carlos Páez Vilaró is located, the Rambla, the historic district and the famous hand that comes out of the sand.

In the evening, you will be transferred from your hotel to the restaurant of Chef Leonardo Etxea, an Uruguayan descendant of the Basque family. His imaginative cuisine plays a very important role in the fine processing of fish and seafood. You will enjoy a gourmet menu consisting of 3 courses with soft drinks. This restaurant has a cellar with exclusive wines from different vineyards in the country.

Day 6

Tastings in the Canelones region

Transfer to the bodega Viñedo de los Vientos, in the department of Canelones. It is a family winery located in Atlántida, producing PREMIUM wines with minimal intervention. They harvest unique Uruguayan grape varieties such as Barbera and Nebbiolo (from Italy). You will taste 5 wines accompanied by an exquisite cuisine created by Mariana Cerrutti, who lovingly prepares traditional dishes with fresh and natural products from the region.
