Itinerary
Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, a driver will be waiting for you and you will be transferred to your hotel. You will visit the capital Buenos Aires for half a day accompanied by a driver and a guide. You will discover the most emblematic places of the capital, from the obelisk to the San Telmo antique dealers’ district and the port.

We offer you a second half-day tour of Buenos Aires with a driver and a guide. You will discover the Recoleta district and its famous cemetery. You will pass through the trendy district of Palermo, and stroll through the Parc 3 de febrero, inaugurated in 1875, the city’s real green lung.

You’ll be transferred to Buenos Aires airport from where you will take an internal flight to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. When you arrive you will be welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel. The city presents a unique landscape in Argentina combining the sea, glaciers, mountains and forests. We suggest you visit the neighborhoods of the first settlers of the city, and observe the traces of urban development of the 1980s.

Day trip to the Tierra del Fuego National Park with a guide. You will start with the Río Pipo Valley and then Ensenada Bay, from where you can see the Redonda and Estorbo Islands. You will go for a walk to Roca Lake and see the snow-covered Munt Condor. Back to Ushuaia.
In the afternoon embark on a catamaran for a 2-hour sailing on the Beagle Channel. Join the island of birds “isla de los pájaros”, famous refuge of many imperial cormorants, albatrosses and more than 20 other seabird species.

You leave this morning for a day crossing the Andean Cordilleraand its forests. Stop at the Velo de Novia waterfall. You will continue your journey to the Carabajal Valley then the Huskies Valley.

In the morning you will be transferred to Ushuaia airport from where you will take an internal flight to El Calafate. On arrival, you will be welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy your free time to stroll around in El Calafate. This city offers a multitude of activities (visit of the Laguna Nimez nature reserve, the Glaciarium…).

In the morning, departure from your hotel to the port of Punta Bandera, about 50 km from El Calafate. This full-day excursion takes place on the north arm of Lake Argentina. You will sail for 2 hours and see multiple glaciers whose frontal walls can reach 135 meters in height. In the early afternoon, return to the port.

Departure early in the morning for the Estancia. It is located in the Glaciers National Park. The visit of the Estancia will be an opportunity to learn about the history of this estate, to discover the daily life in an Estancia, to participate in the traditional demonstration of sheep shearing and to enjoy an Argentine asado. If you wish, you can go horseback riding (1h).

Departure from your hotel to reach the Perito Moreno Glacier, located in the Glacier National Park. Many footbridges offer panoramic views of the glacier overlooking the surrounding lenga groves. From the port located at Refugio Argentino, you embark for a one-hour cruise to enjoy the southern part of the glacier that can exceed 70 meters high.

In the morning you will be transferred to Ushuaia airport from where you will take an internal flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. You will have a free day in Buenos Aires. Take advantage of this opportunity to stroll around the neighbourhoods you prefer, sit on the terrace of a café and observe the lifestyle of the portenos.
In the evening, you are invited to discover the popular tango of the early 20th century during a dinner show. The most important events in the history of tango will be told in the form of a spectacular tango show. The menu includes 3 courses and drinks.

You will be transferred to the port of Buenos Aires or take a direct ferry to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. Upon arrival at the port, you will pick up your rental car and meet your guide for a private tour of the historic district. This visit is done on foot. Your guide will tell you the history of the city and its secrets.

Heading north of the country, you will follow the Uruguay River and arrive in the charming city of Carmelo. Don’t miss to stroll around its pretty central square, its swivel bridge, a masterpiece of engineering, is also well known. But Carmelo’s fame is mainly due to his bodegas. We strongly advise you to visit one of them and have a tasting, you will not regret it.
You will continue on your way and arrive at Mercedes. Quiet northern town whose relaxed atmosphere you will appreciate. Stroll through its neighbourhoods and contemplate its various architectural styles. We recommend of course to walk along the rambla and enjoy the view of the river.

In the direction of Paysandú make a stop in the pretty town of Fray Bentos. Visit the former industrial district of Anglo, and its factory “Frigorifico l’Anglo”classified as a UNESCO historical heritagesite in July 2015. This factory manufactured the famous corned beef, a larger factory in all of South America in the 20th century.
When you arrive in Paysandú, don’t miss the main tourist attraction: the thermal springs. Walk along the rambla to the city port. In the Paysandú region, there are many activities to choose from, such as the Queguay waterfall, a walk in the forest Rincon of Perez or a visit to the Cueva del Tigre cave inhabited by vampire bats.

Head for Tacuarembó, this large northern city is full of surprises. While walking through the streets you will discover many paintings and frescoes on the city walls. Tacuarembó is a real open-air museum. We also recommend visiting the museum of the artist Carlos Gardel.
You will head south and arrive at Pasos de los Toros. This small town retains the natural charm of the ancient Hum des Charrúas River. The Rincón del Bonete dam, with its immense lake, offers an ideal setting and invites you to relax by the water. Enjoy its beaches and the serenity that reigns in Pasos de los Toros.

Direction Treinta y Tres, you will continue on your way to your estancia. You will be invited to stay in full board. Your hosts take care of everything.
