Day 1

Arrival to Buenos Aires

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your driver who will take you to your hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires. You will then have free time to wander around the streets of Buenos Aires and capture the special atmosphere of the famous Argentine capital.

Day 2

Visit of Buenos Aires

Visit of the city of Buenos Aires accompanied by a driver and an English-speaking guide. You will discover the most emblematic places of the capital from the Presidential Palace to the colorful houses of La Boca and the famous Recoleta Cemetery.

Day 3

Visit of Delta del Tigre

We propose an excursion to Tigre accompanied by an English-speaking guide. During this day you will live in the skin of a real porteño. Onboard a small train you will make the first stop in Olivos, visit the district of San Isidro. The second stop in Tigre, you will discover the Puerto de Frutas, a picturesque craft market.

 

You will embark on a lancha for 1 hour and during the time of the walk, you will admire the many typical houses on stilts of Tigre. From the small well-preserved family hut to the imposing colonial property, there is something for everyone. Lunch included. The guide will then take you back to your hotel.

Day 4

Heading north to Argentina

Today we fly to Puerto Iguazú, a small village at the gateway to the Iguazu Falls.

Take the opportunity to visit the small village and discover the triple border, the point that marks the border between Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil.

Iguazú Falls: Argentina part

Day 6

Iguaçu Falls: Brazil part

We’re using the same ingredients and we’re repeating them to Brazil this time. Don’t forget your passports which will be useful to cross the customs. You will rediscover the falls from another point of view, in the middle of the tropical jungle rich in wildlife.

Day 7

Let's go to Uruguay

Let’s go to Uruguay! Today we’re taking a plane to the capital: Montevideo.

Day 8

Visit the capital: Montevideo

You will visit the most emblematic places of the capital like the Palacio Legislativo, the avenue of July 18th, the Centenario stadium or the Prado Park. You will also walk along the famous Rambla along the coast.

 

 

You will have lunch at the Mercado Del Puerto. It is the place where to taste the local specialties. The menu consists of a Brazier (large barbecue) with many types of meat accompanied by potatoes cooked in

Day 9

Let's heade to Colonia del Sacramento

About 180 km from Montevideo is the charming town of Colonia del Sacramento. We offer you a guided tour of the city by an English-speaking guide. This UNESCO World Heritage city is an ideal place to go for a walk and to relax.

Day 10

Along the Río Uruguay

You will then head north and follow the thread of the Rio Uruguay.        Make a stopover in the charming town of Carmelo. Known for its white sandy beaches, tranquility and Bodegas. The Carmelo region is home to some famous wineries not to be missed. We offer you a wine tasting and lunch in one of the most famous.

 

You will continue your way along the river to arrive in Fray Bentos. Visit the old industrial district of the Anglo, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in July 2015. The “Frigorifico Anglo” was one of the main food factories of Uruguay in the 20th century. It was in this factory that corned beef was made.

Day 11

Heading towards Durazno

On the road to Durazno, we invite you to discover the Talice Ecopark: 75 hectares, subdivided into several areas transformed into a habitat where about 1400 animals of different species are distributed, coexisting in huge enclosures, lakes, and reptilariums. The conservation of the green spaces and the extreme care of the animals are a fundamental part of the prestige acquired by this Reserve, cataloged as the most distinguished in Uruguay.

Day 12

Minas

Heading for the Minas region. The region is characterized by a landscape of rolling hill ranges. Discover its thick vegetation and native animals. Climb to the top of Cerro Artigas and you will find yourself face to face with the monument of the Uruguayan General Artigas. You will then enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley.

Day 13

Uruguayan countryside

Still in the department of Lavalleja, continue your journey in the hilly region of Uruguay and head to Villa Serrana for the day.

Day 14

Towards the Atlantic coast

On the way to the fishing village of Punta del Diablo. This delightful village is a haven of peace that invites you to relax by the water. The beaches are frequented by tourists in summer (January – February), surfers and water sports enthusiasts of all kinds flock to enjoy its sumptuous beaches.

Day 15

Visit of Santa Teresa National Park

A few kilometres from Punta del Diablo, discover the Santa Teresa National Park. The reserve has more than 3000 hectares distributed among beaches, pine forests and native vegetation. You will see native animals. Don’t miss them, the flower park, the aviary and especially its fortress. Also discover its immense white sandy beaches.

Day 16

Heading for Cabo Polonio

We invite you to a parenthesis on the coast: Cabo Polonio. It is a small ecological reserve located on the Atlantic coast of Uruguay where about fifty people live all year round. It is one of the largest sea lion reserves in South America. Here everyone lives to the rhythm of nature. Cars can not circulate everything is done to respect the ecosystem. A unique moment.

Day 17

On the chicest beaches of the coast

Punta del Este, discover the famous peninsula so appreciated by international tourists. This town offers a wide range of restaurants and activities for the whole family.

 

 

You can also take the opportunity to visit José Ignacio, a small fishing village even more select than Punta del Este where all the Jet 7s of Latin America meet in summer.

Day 18

Back to the capital

Head for the capital, Montevideo. We invite you to stop at the pretty seaside resort of Piriápolis which is on the road. It offers a beautiful waterfront. In the summer it is a very popular family resort and we invite you to walk along its beautiful Rambla. If you feel like it, climb to the top of the Cerro Antonio and enjoy a superb panoramic view of Piriápolis. You will drop off your rental car in Montevideo.

Day 19

Departure from Montevideo

Finally, depending on your flight schedule, a driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Montevideo airport or to your return flight.
