Day 1

Arrival in Colonia del Sacramento

Arrive in the morning, pick up your rental car and leave your belongings in it. Afterward, your guide will join you to show you the charming little town of Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the end of the day, head towards the capital: Montevideo.

Day 2

Visit the capital: Montevideo

We offer you a private tour of the capital with a driver and an English-speaking guide for 4 hours. You will visit the most emblematic places of Montevideo. The tour starts with the old town and its port, you will pass through the branch districts of Pocitos and Punta Carretas, you will see the famous Centenario stadium which hosted the first world cup.

You will have lunch at the Mercado del Puerto, an unmissable place to taste the local specialties. The menu consists of a Brasero (huge barbecue) with different types of meat accompanied by potatoes and a mixed salad, dessert and coffee.

Day 3

Heading to Punta del Este

We invite you to stop at the pretty seaside resort of Piriápolis which is on the road. It offers a beautiful waterfront. In the summer it is a popular family seaside resort and we invite you to walk along its beautiful Rambla. If you feel like it, climb to the top of the Cerro Antonio and enjoy a superb panoramic view of Piriápolis.

Discover the famous peninsula so much appreciated by international tourists. This town offers a wide range of restaurants and activities for the whole family. Visit its historic district, the Marina de la Candelaria, the lighthouse and the famous sculpture of Los Dedos or Casa Pueblo.

Day 4

José Ignacio & Minas

Today we suggest you to visit José Ignacio, a small fishing village even more select than Punta del Este. Although there are some luxury buildings, where you can see some celebrities, this site seeks to preserve its fishing village style. Most people go to buy their fresh fish from the sailors returning from fishing. You will also find excellent restaurants specializing in gourmet seafood cuisine

You can head further inland and visit the Lavalleja region and especially Minas. This region is characterized by a landscape of undulating hill chains, which, together with its vegetation and the richness of flora and fauna, form an idyllic environment to recharge your batteries.

Day 5

Cabo Polonio & Punta del Diablo

We invite you to a parenthesis on the coast: Cabo Polonio. It is a small ecological reserve located on the Atlantic coast of Uruguay where about fifty people live all year round. It is one of the largest sea lion reserves in South America. Here everyone lives to the rhythm of nature. Cars can not circulate everything is done to respect the ecosystem. A unique moment.

Head towards Punta del Diablo. This delicious fishing village will seduce you with its calm and tranquility. Enjoy its sumptuous beaches ideal for surf and nature lovers. Buy your fish directly from the fishermen when they come back from fishing, for a taste like no other.

Day 6

Visit to Santa Teresa National Park

Discover the Santa Teresa National Park. With its 3000 hectares, its native animal reserve, its floral park and its fortress full of history. Take advantage of its endless white sandy beaches to rest before returning to your hotel.

Day 7

Laguna del Castillo

On the way to the Laguna del Castillo to stay in an Estancia.
